Job Title: Web Marketing Programs Manager

I-ology's Web Marketing Programs Manager is an experienced technology manager with a passion for the internet. He/she will oversee the successful fulfillment of our clients online marketing goals, refine and develop best-in-class service lines and ultimately expand the current offering. He/she will also serve as central point person to capture and document Online Marketing Service Line processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years Management; 3-5 years Internet experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and technical proficiency in Internet best practices in terms of knowledge of social media, paid & natural search, website usability/navigation, consumer on-line buying behaviors, web merchandising/promotions, media buying, affiliate marketing strategies and web analytics
  • Experience building and managing small to mid-sized teams to achieve common goals in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
  • Deep experience in online and social media thought leadership
  • Strong understanding of social media in relation to the broader media mix; understanding of the interplay between online/social media and traditional media
  • Strong understanding of Web design, applications, navigation, Web 2.0
  • Strong knowledge of user-generated content, Web video and viral marketing on the Web
  • Experience developing and refining benchmarks for client online performance
  • Expertise in client-facing roles, preferably in a multi-client environment
  • Exceptional verbal presentation and written communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience participating in online and offline customer acquisition and lead generation programs
  • Strong analytic background to be able to develop reporting models to measure the success of programs

Online Service Line Management

  • Provide expertise in search engine marketing and ongoing trends in the field, and use this knowledge to improve SEM efforts (SEO & PPC) and expand into Social Media
  • Act as the leader and catalyst in moving marketing into online and social media
  • Set targets and timelines for social media programs and key initiatives
  • Develop a set of best practices and devise recommended rules of engagement and use the social media and evangelization/education opportunities to share best practices and knowledge
  • Create effective documentation that captures requirements and translates them into understandable specifications for the Online Marketing Team
  • Manage Online Marketing team including recruiting, training & individual team growth
  • Provide guidance, leadership and constructive feedback to Online Marketing team members
  • Participate in annual department budget creation
  • Ensure client online marketing goals are achieved

    • Assist in identifying client business needs, assessing online opportunities and overseeing the execution of tactics that result in client ROI
  • Provide/design insightful reporting on performance metrics related to online marketing activity to help inform and drive business decisions
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Establish & manage strategic vendor and partner relationships
  • Develop and conduct marketing analysis to expand service line offerings
  • Provide input on department measures, metrics & benchmarks

    • Research and refine industry benchmarks as point of reference

Key Relationships

External

  • Work with clients to ensure success of existing programs and up-sell opportunities
  • Work with potential new business clients to clearly communicate service offerings and capabilities
  • Work with vendors to negotiate contracts and services

Internal

  • Manage and oversee activities of Online Marketing resources
  • Work with Sales Team and Client Strategy to establish pricing, timeline and materials to secure new business
  • Work with accounting to ensure checks and balance of company financial reporting (ex PPC hard cost spend)
  • Work with Director of Marketing to communicate effective marketing initiatives and report department results
  • Work with other departments to facilitate better integration of OM team and overall company performance and best-in-class solutions
