    Job Position Summary

    The Business Analyst/Technical Project Manager will ensure proper gathering of both business and system requirements. This includes, but is not limited to the gathering, documenting, analyzing and communicating of client requirements to both internal and external project teams. He/she will also be responsible for the overall project management of technical projects and web initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years in programming or technology field
    • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience including all phases of project management and client engagement
    • Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Technology
    • HIPAA Experience a big plus
    Position Responsibilities

    Business Analyst

    • Interface with clients to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and assist in delivering products through the project lifecycle
    • Analyze systems in translating business requirements to system and functional requirements, and then pass requirements to web development team
    • Ensure recommended solutions are both commercial and competitive
    • Understand business requirements of client and translate them into specific web-based software requirements
    • Understand both technical designs and specifications
    • Analyze and document required data and information
    • Must have strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the client
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver GUI, interface and screen designs
    • Act as the interface between technology teams, support teams, and business units
    • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and evaluating the best course of action

    Project Management

    • Ensure Design and Development work is delivered per specification
    • Work with Project Coordinator to determine resources as needed to ensure project progress
    • Manage the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within scope and budget
    • Gather all technical requirements for project implementation
    • Review project progress with resources, department leads
    • Test websites to ensure quality control for layout and functionality
    • Prepare internal and external resources for upcoming projects
    • Participating in setting and managing client expectation related to their projects
    • Keep clients updated with project progress throughout duration of implementation
    • Document project meetings and follow up on assigned action items
    • Ensure internal and external resources understand clients' business and technical needs

    Resource Management

    • Ensure resources are effectively utilized for project progress
    • Ensure resources understand scope of project and tasks needed to be accomplished
    • Identify any resource needs and issues
    • Contribute to best practices and documentation with tools and processes used for projects to ensure project
    • Approve technical estimates and submitted hours for technical resources
