The Project Manager will play the key role in our web development process; keeping our valued customers up to date with project status, discussing and resolving development issues and assuring expectations are consistently met, often exceeded! You will develop project plans, timelines and allocate resources to best execute on client expectations and deliver on time & on budget, always with a keen eye on project profitability. Position Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Ensure Design and Development and work order projects are delivered on time and within allocated budget.
  • Maintain timelines to track project progress.
  • Allocate internal and contractor resources as needed to ensure project progress.
  • Adjust project schedules and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Gather all content needed from client for project implementation.
  • Review project progress with resources, department leads.
  • Test Web sites to ensure quality control for layout and functionality.
  • Prepare internal and external resources for upcoming projects.
  • Ensure clients understand scope, timeline and contingencies related to their projects.
  • Keep clients updated with project progress throughout duration of implementation.
  • Document project meetings and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Ensure internal and external resources understand clients' business needs.

Resource Management

  • Ensure resources are effectively utilized for project progress.
  • Ensure resources understand scope of project and tasks needed to be accomplished.
  • Identify any resource needs and issues.

Profitability Measurements

  • Oversee attainment of pre-defined profitability margin for Design and Development projects and work order projects.
  • Ensure cost of sale (COS) for contractors meets pre-defined profitability margin.
  • Contribute to best practices and documentation with tools and processes used for projects to ensure profitability.

Key Relationships

External

  • Work with clients to define project objectives and specifications.
  • Work with contractors to communicate project specifications and timelines.

Internal

  • Work closely with Design and Development resources to execute project objectives and specifications.
  • Work closely with Quality Manager to contribute to best practices and measures for resource management.
  • Provide Quality Manager with support or documentation for Consulting engagements.
  • Work with Sales Team for any support or documentation to secure new business.
