I-ology®, Inc. Selected as Finalist for Governor´s Celebration of Innovation Awards
Event to Honor Arizona´s Top Technological and Business Achievements
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – October 31, 2003 – I-ology®, Inc., a leading Internet strategy firm, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist in the "Innovator of the Year - Service Company" category for the Governor´s Celebration of Innovation Awards. The Governor´s Celebration of Innovation Awards Gala, sponsored by Governor Janet Napolitano, and presented by the Arizona Technology Council, the Arizona Department of Commerce, the Southern Arizona Tech Council and the High-Tech Industry Cluster, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort, and is designed to recognize the technological and business achievements of Arizona´s top companies, organizations and individuals in several categories.
Finalists for the awards were chosen by a selection committee of business leaders and industry experts after carefully reviewing submitted nomination materials from over 100 companies. For purposes of the selection process, a service company is a firm that supplies operational or infrastructure products or services to the technology industry and to Arizona companies specifically. Finalists in this category were selected based on their innovative approach to solving business problems, their market success and customer service.

The following specific awards will be presented at the official ceremony. One company within each category will be honored:
- The Pioneering Innovation Award – For corporate contribution to Arizona´s technology industry through sustained business presence, corporate citizenship, community involvement, and business success. The award is limited to commercial enterprises of any size or technical discipline conducting business in Arizona for at least five years.
- The Innovator of the Year Award – For an organization, product or program that has had significant business success in the past calendar year. The Innovator of the Year is awarded to an individual, team, or company that develops the innovation in Arizona. Awards will be presented in four categories including Large Company, Small Company, Start-Up Company, and Service Company.
In addition, the Technology Council and Industry Cluster will continue their tradition of recognizing key business leaders, educators, students, legislators and volunteers who provide the means to keep our innovation economy growing. These awards include the William F. McWhortor Award, the Ed Denison Business Leader of the Year, the "Tech 10" Legislature Awards, the Chairman´s Award, the Teacher of the Year, and the Future Innovators of the Year. These awards were not open for nominations and will be selected by committee.
