I-OLOGY Ranked Fastest Growing Woman-Owned Business in the Valley
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA I-ology, Inc., a full-service Internet services and consulting firm, showed the biggest revenue growth for a woman-owned business in the Valley in 1999, according to the December 29, 2000 edition of the Phoenix Business Journal.
Established in 1998 by Patricia "Trish" Bear, I-ology has grown from two employees and $30,000 in revenue annually to seven employees and $700,000 in revenue in 2000. Additionally, I-ology is ranked 13th among the top 25 Web design firms in the 2000 Phoenix Business Journal Book of Lists. And 45th in the top 50 women-owned business in the state.
I-ology provides Internet services such as Website design and development, e-commerce, email services, online marketing and high-end hosting solutions to a wide variety of high-profile clients.
A partial client list includes: Copper Square Downtown Phoenix, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, Desert Troon Companies, MCW Holdings, Renaissance Companies, Fiber Link Technologies and Thayer Medical.

Even though I-ology's tagline is "The science of the Internet," the company has done a good job of translating this complex technology to businesses. Prior to starting I-ology, Trish Bear managed the $2 million commercial services division at Frontier Global Center in Phoenix, a provider of nationwide commercial Website hosting, design and development and Internet access.
She graduated from ASU in 1994 with a B.S. in Business Management. Trish is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the National Association of Female Executives and is listed in the Who's Who in Business 2000 worldwide directory.
