Background
Arizona Environmental Recycling, L.L.C., is dedicated to preserving our state's environment for future generations. Since their inception in 1998, they have been focused on the recycling and environmental needs of all Arizona citizens and businesses. Each month Arizona Environmental Recycling (AER) facilities collect and ship over 1.5 million pound s of recycling materials. This saves our landfills from having to accept materials that can be recycled into other usable products.
The company's motto: Recycle. Nothing so simple can accomplish so much.
Goals
In an effort to maintain continuous growth and brand recognition, AER had the goal of increasing their commercial clientele. They were looking to gain awareness for the special offerings that they have specifically for commercial customers such as:
- Quick, easy to navigate drop off centers.
- Commercial pick-up services.
- On site containers for recycle storage.
Solutions
I-ology constructed a professional and measurable solution that was specifically developed to help Arizona Environmental Recycling meet their online goals. I-ology efforts included:
- Enhancing search engine optimization of the website and management of keyword natural search results.
- Development of a pay per click campaign and tracking of keyword validity.
- Developing a quarterly e-mail campaign targeting prospective commercial business and current commercial business.
- Online specials which include printable coupons that can be updated instantly.
- Robust "common questions" section in English and Spanish to reduce phone calls to the recycling facilities.
- Interactive locations map that shows recycling centers throughout the Valley.
Results
Arizona Environmental Recycling experienced a 24% increase of unique visits after the initiation of their online marketing program. In addition, in one year since the development of that program, 58% of all referrals are from the Internet.
They´ve also seen great success from the e-mail outreach program that I-ology put in place. In February of 2007, they signed three new business contracts as an immediate result (within 12 hours) of their e-mail blast, and saw a total of 12 new commercial contracts in total, achieving their goals of gaining visibility for their commercial offerings.
