The Account Executive will primarily be responsible for driving new business for I-ology. This position is responsible for generating $1 million worth of business annually.

Position Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- The Account Executive is responsible for selling I-ology products and services via the telephone and in face-to-face sales appointments.
- Must be able to provide technical and administrative information, gain appointments and qualify prospects, consultative sell, and close sales.
- The position will require making outbound prospecting calls to customers to follow up on leads generated by marketing, prospecting, networking and/or advertising.
- Establish customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel such as Marketing Managers / directors, IT staff, business directors and C-level contacts.
- Must be able to provide technical and administrative information, gain appointments and qualify prospects, consultative sell, and close sales.
- Develop the applicable I-ology proposals and contracts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Give effective sales presentations to qualified prospects.
- The AE is responsible for managing the potential customer throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Must possess the ability to identify and penetrate large account opportunities and work closely with the Consulting/Technical teams to effectively close sales.
- Position requires that the representative maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing. Strong follow-up and prospecting skills are required.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company and prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.

Account Management
- Act as the main liaison with client after the sale has been made
- Manage an initial account base
- Study and understand each client's business and the role their Web site plays in achieving their business objectives
- Provide strategic direction for client's ongoing Internet strategy
- Maintain a professional awareness of all existing I-ology service lines, including current technologies and online marketing tactics, and suggest other services based on client demand
- Work with I-ology Management Team, Project Mangers and Online Marketing Mangers to ensure client expectations are being met
- Make regular visits to clients to ensure good working relationships are maintained
- Prepare contracts, work orders, proposals and research documents for assigned clients
- Troubleshoot and facilitate any client issues to make sure they are handled properly and timely
- Work diligently with clients to prepare, deliver, and secure contract renewals 60 days prior to expiration
Increase Account Penetration
- Review existing accounts and suggest creative ways to improve client return on investment (ROI)
- Suggest additional I-ology services which may increase client ROI and provide I-ology additional revenue
Sales Support
- Preparing proposals with the goal of increasing the I-ology account base
- Utilize future and existing market/industry relationships to generate additional business for I-ology
General Responsibilities
- Attend all necessary staff meetings
- Complete any and all additional work assigned by Account Management team
- Meet sales activity requirements
Preferred Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Outlook).
- General concept knowledge of basic Internet technologies such as HTML, database functionality and Web site usability

Preferred Education and Experience
- Four-year college degree
- One to five years of account management/sales experience
- Two years of Internet industry experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast paced multi-client environment

- Extensive cold-calling experience
Special Requirements
- Some travel required in local Phoenix area. Possible regional sales travel.
